Unselfish MOTIVES Inc., Going Live October 2013 - A miracle without the disappointment - and where hope will take on new meaning.
You can live your hearts desires, if your dreams are unselfishly motivated.
Have you ever heard of people being at the top of their game and still being unhappy?
Yours truly, went out this afternoon to see the movie 'Runner Runner,' starring Ben Affleck (Chasing Amy, Goodwill Hunting, Argo), and earlier on in the show (his game if you will), he had some viable points shared with co-star, Justin Timberlake, about chasing our dreams in the midst of a self-serving world, undeniably, as corrupt as we know it to be. However, as the movie progresses, we also watch how Ben becomes like the world he portrays as unfair and illegal, but now, it is OK because he is the one leading, corruptly; rather than simply offering and keeping a better and more feasible service to the people, who are going to gamble online anyhow, he falls into the greed trap...why do people do this stuff?
How many celebrities have we heard about, who have the world by the tail and suddenly, out of the blue, they are invincible; it's cool to be an 'ASS!'
In all fairness, the examples set today by irresponsible politicians, Hollywood celebrities, religious leaders (especially Christian evangelists), world leaders (President's included), Senator's, their assistants, and Canadian Mayor's, who can literally get away with anything and everything because of their money and power, it should not surprise us, as to why these young celebrity stars believe they too can get away with anything, right! WRONG!
Yours truly, as always, is judging no one, but believes everyone has a responsibility to be accountable; respect is earned, and considering there is not much around these days, that means, we are slipping on the examples being set.
When we take on a leadership role, singing sensation, politician, actor, religious leader, you name it, we have an obligation to lead like a professional; are we that insecure, that the only path we see, is in being a jackass and/or obscene?
You'll have to forgive my boldness, however, society is as it is because of irresponsible leadership, and as much as I know many will see me as a prude, boring, or un-cool, I am trusting that the majority will step up to the plate and lead unselfishly for the benefit of the thousands, if not millions, who will in turn do the same.

- Young pop star, Justin Bieber, is now climbing the Great Wall of China, because he's rich, famous and cool! Funny how money suddenly becomes more important to the adults around this young man, who should know better, and when to pull back on the reins.
- Or how about, Mylie Cyrus, once a charming and successful protege' of her dad, in her own way, is suddenly flaunting her nude body in a sex-crazed-world, video, because it's OK and cool of course, when popularity status is shrinking, and money is close at hand, to do anything we choose, knowing very well, it will be without consequences or a slap on the wrist at the worst!
